Take Action

Step 1- Share With Your Friends
We want to get as much exposure to the closure of this park as possible, please share this website with your family and friends and please share on Social Media.  Like us on Facebook, email, call and knock on your friends doors and help us get the word out to anyone that loves parks and public spaces.  Look for flyers and even bumper stickers appearing soon at local parks and stores and help us spread the word!
Step 2 - Looking  ahead...

Collaborating  with  the  county’s  existing  Parks Dept  stewardship
 program including

• Eyes  and  ears  on  the  park  for  needed  maintenance  and  storm  damage

• Coordinating  ongoing  trash  pickup and  regular work  parties

• Planting  conifers to  increase  slope  stability  (organized  work  party)

Park  facilities
such  as  trash  cans,  signage,  restrooms,  and  parking
• Fostering  positive  park  activities and  discouraging  negative  park  activity
•Put  in  place  policies to  deal  with  possible
future  slide damage
Step 3- Go to a Meeting
More info will be posted here as needed

We will also have various small meetings with concerned citizens posted on our Facebook Page so join in and keep up!
